I am usually pretty creative - I´m a designer after all - but lately I had a moment of doubt. My best friend who is an engineer asked me if I could think of ways in which nuclear technology could be used to create greater efficiency. So I mentioned nuclear powered cars and trains. That´s pretty much everything that came to my mind. You wouldn´t believe how surprised I was when Patrick, my friend, told me that even something as small as exit signs could be nuclear powered They must be self-luminous and they may seem a bit expensive, but apparently they can last up to 20 years without electricity and don't require any batteries, electricity, or wiring, so at the end of the day they are eco-friendly and we actually save a lot of money. ...
