Your home says a lot about who you are, what you like and how you feel about your environment, so take the time to consider what you want to say. Typically, color schemes are the most difficult aspect of design and with the variety of tones and shades available on the market today, it's no wonder. Keep in mind, that at the end of the day, you are the one who will looking at those walls, so it’s vital that you are happy with them. When you’re researching ideas for layout, color schemes, and even picture combinations, don’t be afraid to replicate something that you find pleasing. Accenting a wall or two with a complimentary color can reportedly alter the perception of the room and when contemplating what to put on those new walls, consider adding a series of photos or collections of items that you enjoy, for example, antique toys, ocean views, or children’s photos.
