I think this is personally a really great idea if they could get the funding they need. One of the bad parts about cities is that there is never enough trees or plants, and it always makes cities feel cold and unwelcoming.

    I think it's brilliant! I have a friend in Brazil that just built a house with a green roof. You can't even tell the house is there when you are looking at it from the nearby mountains and it's great for keeping heating and cooling costs down. It's built into the hillside so you can walk right on to the roof and you can't really tell where the hill starts and the roof ends.
