Show Us Your Mug, Save Trees & Win Big An everyday tip for a greener lifestyle? Using a reusable coffee mug every time! It cuts down on waste caused from paper/plastic/styrofoam materials and saves you money!
I’m working with NBCUniversal to help raise awareness about the environment with “Mugs Save Trees” in this year's theme of Green is Universal's annual "Green Week".
Starting November 13th, NBCUniversal will bring to life the popular mantra “you don’t have to do a lot to do a lot,” with its “Mugs Save Trees” promotion both online and on the streets. Consumers are invited to upload a picture of themselves with their own reusable mug to the Green is Universal Facebook page (link below) for the chance to win a porcelain Green is Universal coffee mug signed by favorite NBCUniversal talent. Additionally, one grand prize winner will be chosen to win a trip for four to Universal Hollywood. Green is Universal Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/greenisuniv...51792728253333

Paper kills trees, plastic kills people. So no to both. When shopping, i use eco bags. But Im still guilty of using plastics for wet goods like meats especially in the supermarkets. When buying something, and if i didn't brought my eco bag, if it fits on my bag, i wont ask for plastic (I usually carry big bags). -
Me too I have been using reusable bags when going to the grocery. I feel much better =) -
I think the biodegradable is better than plastic bags too. I always bring a big clothing bag with me in case I buy someting big and heavy. It's very practicle and durable. I hope greener peolpe should copy this eco-friendly action. -

Hello there,
Thank you for sharing your important tips about the world , That is no longer correct today, There are some first class products to choose from replacing the sheer, not too pretty, and tough to carry reusable shopping bags we've been used to seeing and using long time ago. The new reusable shopping bags, from numerous companies offer much, much more. You will get quality, pleasure, and a totally green dedication to our world.
Nice to meet you

I think retailers need a bit of training as well. It really bothers me when I purchase a single, small item from somewhere and the check-out person (by default) pulls out a plastic bag a puts (let's say) my pack of gum in it! Ugh. Seriously, I'll be fine carrying it out of the store in just my hands. Care to Click - we know you care. http://www.caretoclick.com/environment -
For bags I would prefer taking my own cloth bag... -
I completely agree we should use reusable bag instead. -
Well said. Several months ago, my girlfriend and I finally decided to purchase a reusable and I couldn't be more happier.
