Lightbulb Hold the ketchup and sugar packets please.

When ordering take out or delivery, ask only for the condiments you are planning to use.* Most ketchup, relish and soy sauce packets end up in the trash or deep in your desk drawers. These little condiments are a prime example of over packaging and reducing the number that end up in your bag ultimately reduces how many will be produced and eventually end up in landfills.

Remember! Only use those artificial items that have helped to degrade our environment that you feel you need!!!! The only way to reduce the number of these unused packets is to keep them in the unused drawer in your fridge. The number of these packets produced long ago exceeded the demand for the packets and leads to a practically limitless supply of the useless plastic bags...
By the way, even using one plastic bag means you will be placing that much non-decomposable waste in some landfill. Not to mention your water bottles, "low carb/fat/cal/whatever" food, tofu wrappers, or anything else that is plastic.
In other words... Green is not going to work UNLESS the government is behid it.
One question to ask....
Why did our government cut funding for renewable energy resources in the midst of the "global warming" crisis but raise funding for fossil fuel research?
Hmmmmmmm.

It seems like more and more restaurants are switching to throwaway plastic ketchup containers in place of refillable glass ones. I know several restaurant owners and they say it is because it is hard to clean the glass ones time after time in compliance with health laws, but that always sounds silly to me.
