For me the biggest environmental issue is the Climate Change/Global Warming. Because it affects all of us. If Global warming will continue, it may totally destroy our ecosystem.

Honestly if we get down to the brass tacks on all these issues, it is a lack of education, ignorance and manipulation of people. How many of us want to tilt the scales to benefit our beliefs? Statistics are most always skewed to benefit the party that states them. Don't be naive, it is done on both sides. No matter how hard it is for each of us to get what we want we should be truthful, and not take short cuts. This is why each of us has to be educated, so we can figure out what really needs to be done. We can't afford to turn a blind eye, we owe it to each other and to ourselves to become more knowledgeable and honest people. Even if we don't win all the time.

I agree on the education part. The smarter people are the more they know what to do about the planet and they can help out more.

Also what would really help is to get rid of companies like monsanto that are creating a problem that is so bad they have been voted the worst company on planet earth. This wikipedia link has it all: Monsanto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . That would help the environment alot since they are the main pushers of GMO crops and they make pesticides and pollution that is ruining the planet.

    Cool Children & Environmental Issues

One of the biggest tasks ahead is educating children on environmental issues and green living.

NBCUniversal is making a commitment to sustainability across the entire company with their "Green is Universal" initiative. This initiative is focused on bringing an environmental perspective to everything they do, informing and entertaining their audiences while driving more sustainable practices into their own operations.

Check out this video on eco-friendly lessons for children. The video is courtesy of NBC4 and highlights a trip to the museum, elaborating on ways kids and schools can go green.

I'm helping NBCUniversal spread the word on this great campaign, so let me know if anyone has questions!

    Cool

I would go for the use of paper which is a pretty big one but pretty much all of them....I'm with the fight against paper receipts for sure and would recommend everyone using online receipts...myreceipts.com does it!!!

By far the water pollution! we can live longer on water then anything else. Our water table is declining year after year. The fertilizer run off into the streams and water supplies is a nightmare. Cleaner water and less use of it for cleaning cars, watering grass, etc.
Use GREEN friendly products if you want to take care of your grass and gardens. Use Sumagreen Turf or Ag which has NO Chemicals fertilizer and grows grass and gardens better then chemicals.

I am sure they have people in that area as i know they ship me the product directly from the company. I am an LCO so I know i get it a little cheaper then they offer on the website. I would go on their website.

They have results and other things on their site from all over the place.

It is easy to apply as well.
