The concept for this Ver2 Electric Bike is really amazing when it comes to it's exterior. I thought at 1st glance it looks like a wheelchair but it's absolutely not, haha. Well, on the serious side I think it's just made a new wear for an ordinary bicycle but I an ordinary one will do still. If you will assess the market I don't think it'll capture the whole market. The concept is great but it'll take time to finally embraced by the people.

Hmm, I don't like it. The aerodynamics will be a problem. I do like that you can recharge electronic devices while riding.

you may like what you see but for this to run on the street a big NO way. I still do not like it on the street and for sure people will not find it okay.

As far as I am concerned all electric bikes are cool, but some lack power. If you are looking for something that is to be your primary transportation, or especially if you live in an area that has a lot of hills, look for a electric bike or scooter that has a larger peak wattage (many people don't realize that electric bike nominal wattage is something that is governed but the peak wattage is not. Some higher end models peak at 1800 to 2200 watts). I live in Canada and have several ebikes. The two models I like the best are Morotino and Electrowheels... both made and designed in Canada. There are hundreds of different models out there, most of which are manufactured in China. You can get an ebike at Walmart but they are a little junky in my opinion. As far as your questions concerning Lithium Ion versus Lead Acid, Lead Acid batteries are still the one that offer the most range and power. A lot of people get all excited about lithium ion but honestly lead acid batteries are still the best performers.

I think that's the future. Soon more will come up on the market. I am really curious what they will invent in 30-40 years. There will be flying cars?!

If you really want a electric bike and a DIY project, lookup electric ninja conversion. lots of people are converting old motorcycles (like the ninja) into battery operated bikes. No gas, just battery power. Granted the range is only like 40 miles but still a nice alternative.
