thank you!

i'm from Singapore. That's at South East Asia and we're near the equator so it's always sunny - that means our air conditioning is always on 24/7. so you can imagine why we're so uneco-friendly!

Put kitchen foil, shiny side out behind your radiators. This stops the heat being lost into the walls and reflects it back into the room. Cosier houses all round!

Turn your electronic equipment off when it is not in use: Many of your home electronics such as TVs, DVD's, DVRs, computers, monitors, game stations and stereos appear to be off when you select turn the power switch off. Don't let them fool you, the standby power in many of these components can be the same as running a 75 to 100 watt bulb continuously. A good practice is to have your equipment on a power strip. Turn the power strip off and start saving. This is from the US Dept of Energy.

Default Lets look at this in a different light!!!

Midori

Can we look at this comment in a completly differently lght?

Use the sun to your advantage. With a few solar panels, you can have the suns intensity cooling your home rather than heating it. With your abudance of sun light, lets change the heat that our sun would be heating the interior of your home into power to cool your home. You can be MORE eco-friendly than most parts of the world even dream of.
