The idea behind it and I believe it is more convenient actually if you just make online purchase and let them deliver it in front of your door. But I dunno because I am someone who still prefer to go to the store to purchase items like vitamins, cleaning supplies and etc. as you mentioned above. It is still safe on my part if I would see it on the sport before making a purchase. But if your eco products are nearly in quality and you're proud of it then that's fine. Just sharing my thoughts regarding it. Thanks.

I understand where you are coming from, but the company that I order my products from can only be ordered online. You may have heard of the company. It is Melaleuca and their products are very good. Thanks anyway!

That sounds pretty good. A lot of times people don't have a wide selection of stores that offer green products in the area. I have to do a lot of online shopping for specific things. I think store are catching on to the demand more though. I actually put a small list together of eco-friendly products and ideas that I really like here GREEN BUSINESSES AND PRODUCTS FOR EVERYDAY

You can leave comments there and tell me if you have also used these companies or have other suggestions. I am always open to tying new green products

Internet shopping is getting popular by the day but to make it Eco-friendly you really need to shop smart! I have dedicated a blog just for a company called EcoSolve Americas, they're taking internet purchasing to the next level. A Canadian company selling Eco-friendly water based paint stripping products in the US shipping from a centralized American warehouse for shorter shipping distance and uses recycled and reused packaging materials.

Promoting products like these (the number is growing) will help minimize the demand for production of the highly toxic chemical strippers ie. methylene chloride still legal for consumer purchase in Canada and the US. Do your research where is item shipping from, what kind of packaging is used, what are the shipping methods used. If you can't find the right answers for any particular item you wish to purchase online it may just be greener to go to your local store or go without!
