    Hi William,

Nice information and link to share with me. Very good topic discuss here. I think some bag really seem not to care about the number of plastic bags being used daily. I have had the same observation in the supermarket where I always do my food shopping. They don't put as many items as the plastic bag can hold. Instead, they use a separate bag for items that can actually fit in the first bag. This is why I bring reusable bags whenever I shop. Plus, these bag earn me some points that which I can use to redeem some prize items.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Not to mention the amount of trees cut down to create paper bags when hemp, Kenaf, or other forms of resources can be used to supply paper as well as reusable bags you can bring into the store.

I think they've been using cloths bags and such in Europe for years. If we'd started caring about our environment sooner, maybe America would be in a better place...ecologically and morally.

True but i read somewhere that you had to use a hemp bag over 100 times to get an energy saving over plastic. Granted hemp is sustainable and bio-degradable but I guess we also have to be diligent!

    kind regards,
