Eco friendly products are easier to use and they're actually safer for your house, the planet, and your kids. Melaleuca is the country's leading green product provider, and they DO NOT test on animals if u would like to know more just send me a email.

On a practical level, using eco-friendly products can often be a good investment. Products that are eco-friendly because they are naturally-derived tend to last quite a bit longer than their counterparts. So in the long run you often spend less than you would for synthetically-produced products. Of course, besides that you can feel better about not polluting your environment.

Recycling is right along the same lines as using eco-friendly products. But besides doing good for the environment, you are being more efficient with what has been given you, and it can actually empower you and make you feel more at peace for doing so.

Eco-friendly products also strive to minimize the use of any potential toxins or harmful chemicals in their production, if needed. In the case of cleaners, this is as simple as replacing chemicals with greener ingredients. However, it becomes trickier when we talk about some other types of eco-friendly products. For example, building contractors who decide to seek out eco-friendly products and materials must choose those which were assembled with toxin-free adhesives. This seemingly small effort ensures that you don’t breathe these harmful adhesives when the materials are used to build your home.

As i have asthma i have two purposes for eco friendly products. I struggle in the bathroom as most cleaning products tend to have a strong smell and really affect my breathing. I invest in alternative products such as shower blades to help me clean my bath screen and doors. In the kitchen i stick to the same theory and i tend to make homemade cleaning products with recipes which can be found online.

I never thought about making my own cleaning products before but now its a way of life that i enjoy and also has saved me numerous visits to the doctor. I just believe if it affects my breathing how harsh are these chemicals and how are they affecting the environment in which we live?
