Hi Zach! I'm new to greener people, and I think it's awesome...so many great ideas for living more sustainably. I work with a site called earthbongo, which is a project sharing site where people can create and share micro-projects to make the world better. Many of our projects are about green living, from packing a waste-free lunch for your kids to using less shampoo. We would love to have you share some of your ideas as projects on our site! I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

Also, a question--is it okay to post occasional links to earthbongo projects, or would that be considered spam?

Hi Zach! I'm a brand new member to greener people and I'm really digging the site! Very glad I joined. I do have a question, I'm looking for some tips when it comes to grocery shopping greener. Although my city does have a farmers market every Saturday, I do not have access to any places like Whole Foods or a Fresh Market. My only option is the dreaded Wal-Mart. Do you know of any info that might be helpful?

If I've written an article (outside of Greener People) and want to share it in the forums, am I allowed to post a link to it? Its not selling a product but I still wasn't sure. Hello, I'm new to this site. Can you direct me to a discussion on composting toilets?

I will like to introduce a new and innovative 'eating green' program. I started my working life as a civil engineer and then morphed into a software engineer, author, and now to management consultant, my hobby is nutritious cooking. At the start of 2007, I began writing a food column for three regional newspapers and recently began wondering how I could combine my professional experience with advancing the cause of living a more green life. The result is the FamilyGreenSurvival program, Family Green Survival, designed to create a deep personal commitment to ‘green living' and to develop empathy for the world's low income and poor population.

Zach, I am a green builder in california. Building has just about stopped. My current project has stagnated and will hopefully be on track again soon. In the mean time we have been giving tours of our home and teaching people how to go green to save money. Our home will be the greenest in the state and we want to use it as a Green Resource Center, do you have any thoughts on how I can get more publicity for my project. And how can I get my project on your greener people website.reese

That's understandable, I thought it was a scam as well at first. I have a neighbor who is going to heat his house with a home made water-to-hydrogen system this winter.....the technology exists and is very simple. If I had the time, I would rig up a car to run on it....which has already been done. Check out the listings in the 'hydrogen category'....there are some videos you should check out. Made a believer out of me.

Hey Zach, i'm liking the Marketplace and Blog sections. I am planning to write some stuff about earth-list....how i got into it and what not(if thats okay).
Also, i noticed you mentioned 'no water to gas' related stuff. Are you not a believer in the potential this technology has or are these guys just hitting you up with alot of spam? I have to admit, after looking into it, i think this just might be the future of energy and transportation.
