    Default Can we maximize our usage of water?

    Many of us didn't pay attention to the water that we use everyday. More often, because we have plenty of it in our faucet we don't even care if we abuse our use of water since our first reason is we pay for it. I don't believe in that idealism because if we really cared for our water we should have done things to maximize our usage in order for us as well to save our monthly water bill and to help our mother earth.

    I actually shut the water off in the shower when I lather and shave. It saves alot of water. I also only use enough water to rinse the toothpaste off my mouth when I brush my teeh and don't leave the water on like most people. I also am smart with my dishes loads in the dish washer.

    Good for you and that's nice to know. These days we should all be practical and maximize the usage of what we have.

    There are lots of great ways to conserve water.Just a few of them that we do in our home are;
    *turning off the water when brushing our teeth.
    *We use drip/soaker hoses in the yard because regular water sprinklers put more water in the air than on your plants.
    * We never water in teh heat of the day- to much evaporates.
    *We take showers instead of tub baths.
    We feel that not only does conserving water lower our bill, but water is such a valuable resource that we should not waste it.

    I try to conserve water as much as possible. In the shower, washing dishes, and even do double the weight to a load of wash so less water is used. We all should do our part. "You don't know what you got until it's gone."

    Another thing we do to help conserve water is; When washing fruits and vegetables use a pan or small tub of water instead of letting the faucet run. After washing your vegetables in the tub you can use the water on your plants.

    We could reuse the water on many occasions. For example, the water you used to wash fruits and vegetables can be used to water flowers at your backyard. When brushing your teeth, turn off the water. Saving a load of clothing and washing them together. Pay more attention to the water, and we can do more meaningful things for our home earth.
